CLEAR SPAN GLASSHOUSES
The clear span design is free-standing and generally adopted where no rear wall is available. It gives the greatest depth relative to overall height and offers maximum ventilation and light. Because only dwarf walls are required, clear span products are particularly easy to install.

THREE-QUARTER SPAN GLASSHOUSES
The three-quarter span design is generally adopted where the supporting rear wall isn’t tall enough to enable a lean-to glasshouse of sufficient depth to be built. It is also able to provide better ventilation than a lean-to glasshouse and can be fitted with the company’s attractive lifting ridge ventilator.

LEAN-TO GLASSHOUSES
The lean-to design is the most economical option, providing use can be made of an existing south-facing of sufficient height – eg the rear wall of a potting shed.

COLD FRAMES
Coldframes are available in the same configurations as glasshouses and for the same usage, but have a maximum practical length of 60 feet. The hinged sashes can be locked into position with a unique rack system, which holds them firm in windy conditions. The clear and three-quarter span designs incorporate a lifting ridge ventilator.
